Cummins Revs up Manufacturing with Apriso

(NYSE: CMI), a global power leader, has chosen to standardize on Apriso's FlexNet as its enterprise Manufacturing Execution System.     Cummins has implemented Apriso's FlexNet in the UK and US as well as to fuel strategic growth in Brazil, India and China. Cummins will now expand their relationship with Apriso by impl trash bins ementing FlexNet as its standardized software platform for global assembly, manufacturing and re-build operations. FlexNet will be leveraged to manage production and quality execution through expanded initiatives surrounding directed manufacturing, genealogy, track & trace, defect containment and other programs.

By replacing disparate, legacy systems with FlexNet, Cummins can support both Make-to-Order (MTO) engine assembly as well as Make-to-Stock (MTS) components with a single manufacturing execution platform. With FlexNet, Cummins can streamline helicop ter technology operations, increase efficiency and achieve greater global flexibility to respond faster to changing customer and market conditions.
